Hope for Life Foundation Charity Auction
1. About the auction
This online auction is run by the Hope for Life Foundation (Section 21 Company 2018/2969, Welfare Organisation WO 481), Windhoek, Namibia, to raise funds for its charitable projects. Items are generously sponsored; all proceeds go to the Foundation's work.
2. Bids are binding
Every bid you place is a binding commitment to purchase the item at your bid amount if you are the highest bidder when the auction closes. Please bid responsibly. All amounts are in Namibia Dollars (N$).
3. How bidding works
The minimum increment is N$ 100 above the current highest bid (the first bid must be at least the starting price). The highest valid bid at the auction's closing time wins. If a bid is placed within the final minutes of an auction, the closing time may be extended to give everyone a fair chance. The Foundation may void a bid that was clearly placed in error and may close an auction early if required.
4. Payment and collection
Winning bidders will be contacted using the contact details on their profile to arrange payment (EFT or card) and collection of their items. Please keep your mobile number and email address up to date. Items not paid for within a reasonable period may be offered to the next highest bidder.
5. Privacy
Your contact details are used only for administering the auction — contacting you about your bids, wins, payment and collection. They are never sold, shared or used for unrelated marketing.
6. Condition of items
Items and experiences are sold as donated, without warranty. Descriptions and images are provided in good faith. Vouchers and experiences are subject to the sponsor's own terms and validity periods.
